You’re ready to change how you think and feel about food

Weight-inclusive nutrition counseling to help you thrive.

You’ve already tried hard. It’s time to try something different

Struggling with food can feel like having a dark cloud constantly following you, even if things appear okay on the outside.

What would it feel like to really trust yourself with food?
Imagine no longer being preoccupied with food and body worries…
…and moving through your days with less self-judgment and more confidence, energy and ease.
Maybe a part of you thinks you can keep coasting this way for a long time, but I truly believe you deserve to “not merely survive, but to thrive,” as Maya Angelou famously said.

Wherever you’re starting, there is room for you here.

It would be an honor to partner with you and make this your new reality.

Meet your nutrition therapist

Hi I'm Minh-Hai
("Min-Hi")

I'm grateful to be doing work that is so rewarding, supporting people to have a better relationship with their food, body and mind.

My approach is strengths-based, trauma-informed, weight-inclusive (Health At Every Size based) and grounded in cultural humility.

Both my nutrition therapy and body-based practices are influenced by a wide range of teachings and modalities that allow my approach to be both eclectic and more effective than simply working with one lens or modality.

By working together, I hope you’ll gain insight, compassion and tools to feel more resourced and confident about how you feed and care for yourself – well after our time together ends.

“I have referred more clients to Minh-Hai than I can count.

The consistent response from my clients is that she "gets them."

Minh-Hai is one of the most gifted dietitians I have worked with in my 20 year eating disorder treatment career.”

How it works

Email me to schedule a free call or initial appointment

Email me a brief description of your nutritional concerns and goals (keep in mind that emails are not considered secure). I want to be sure we're a good fit for what you need.

We can start with either a free 15-20 min Q&A call OR schedule the initial appointment (60-75-min) if you're ready to get started.

I'll reply back within 48 business hours.

Schedule initial session and review and complete paperwork

if there's anything you want to keep blank and discuss in conversation instead, that's totally fine

Attend initial session (either in-person or virtually)

Here we review your goals and what's brought you to nutrition counseling. We’ll explore your food and body story leading up to this point as you feel comfortable sharing.

I’d also like to explore what thriving looks and feels like to you personally.. What would you want your relationship with food and body to be like?

You'll typically leave sessions with something to experiment with, perhaps a new insight, tools and/or resources to incorporate in your real life where the real learning begins.

Attend follow-up sessions

You are always welcome to come just as you are - no judgment.

We'll celebrate any wins (which are often different than what diet cultures validates) and explore challenges in a supportive and nonjudgmental space.

I hope you leave sessions feeling more self-compassionate and empowered.

It’s totally up to you how many sessions to meet (as our schedules allow).

I find it’s an ongoing conversation on what feels most supportive, whether that’s weekly, every other week, monthly or as needed.

As you start feeling more confident and resourced, we can experiment with having more space between sessions.
My ultimate goal with every client is to “put myself out of a job.” Of course, you’re always welcome to reach out as needed.

I have clients that I see weekly, biweekly, monthly, and as needed. At first, we may need to schedule the first couple of appointments based on our schedules, and then we can assess the level of frequency that would best support you. As you progress with your relationship with food, we can experiment with having more time between sessions, until you feel like you’re in a great place and can schedule as needed.

Absolutely. I aim to provide inclusive care for all people of all identities, genders and backgrounds.

Please allow at least 48 hours’ notice before cancelling so that I may be able to schedule another client at that time slot. I will charge $75 to your card on file for late cancellations or no shows.

There’s free 2-hour street parking nearby. Please know the parking behind the building is strictly monitored and only for building tenants. There’s also a nearby bus line to my office.
